There is wide variety of culture and religion practice in Nepal like Hinduism, Buddhism and others. Newars are the ethnic group of people. The Newari music consist mainly wind instruments, such as flutes and other similar instrument. They also have many popular folk songs known as lok-geet. Folklore is an integral part of Nepalese society and the food habits of the Nepalese are rice, dal and curry. The Newar community, however, has its own unique features. Its cuisine consists of non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian items served with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage.
